9 Scientifically Proven Reasons You Are A Miraculous Being

Do you ever feel insufficient, “less than”, unable to keep up with your maxed-out life at large?

Everything — and everyone — is clamoring for your attention.

Relationships, work, play, self care, social life, and projects demand your undivided focus. The overwhelm becomes the oppressor, the dominant force in your life.

Mantras of self-defeat swirl around your brain: I can’t keep up. I’m losing the game.

Does life feel too damn much — and you are not enough?

First of all, take a breath. A deep breath. Deeper.

As you read this screen, your body is achieving magical feats of strength and prowess.

Every nanosecond, you are a walking miracle.

With no effort at all — at any moment of the day or night — you are achieving miracles.

Your body, even on auto-pilot, is creating and expanding and regenerating. At speeds and quantities your brain can’t fathom.

If you read even one of these 9 reasons why you’re a walking miracle, you’ll know your magnificence.

And that magnificence can take you far in your every day life.

Read why …

At your conception, you started out as one cell, which kept dividing until adulthood.

Now? You have 100 TRILLION — that’s 100,000,000,000,000 cells!

Your body is repairing and rebuilding. With no stop, ever. Every minute, 300 million cells die and to replace them, you produce 300 billion more cells daily.

And here’s even more insane magic: each cell (of which you have 100 trillion) is itself made up of 100 trillion atoms.

Altogether, as an adult — you contain 7 octillion atoms.

That means you have 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms available to you!

Can your brain begin to fathom the sheer quantity of cells and their atoms? (Mine can’t.)

So why allow your brain to limit the unfathomable plenty available to you, at your fingertips?

You are abundance itself — follow your numbers.

Does your day seem to go on and on while you continue to feel off? You’re scrambling to finish the old — never mind start anything new.

The next time you experience an inability to get up and go, consider that all the energy you need is right where you are.

How is that possible?

Your body, the chair you’re sitting in, your cat — are objects composed of 99.9999999% empty space.

Your body’s entire mass is less than a particle of dust. The entire mass of the human race — altogether — would fit into a space smaller than the volume of a sugar cube.

So what is this space, this nothing, this emptiness? It’s not nothing … it’s energy, waves of it.

Here’s why you’re mostly energy: Every cell in your body is made of atoms. These atoms are lined up with a positive and negative charge, like a battery, to emit electricity.

In every moment, your atoms are absorbing light and energy and giving them back.

To give you a teeny glimpse into the magnificent powerhouse that is you, each of your cells has 1.4 volts of energy. You have around 50 trillion cells in your body, so that’s a total voltage of 700 trillion volts of electricity.

This electricity is even measurable outside our body. The ancients called it prana, or qi, or chi …. and understood this energy was infinite and accessible to every single individual.

As a miraculous being, it is possible to nurture your force field. Raise your energetic vibration.

Breathe. Consciously. Take a few minutes to shut off your mind (aka meditate). Take a walk in nature. Go within to access reserves of energy.

This is do-able by ordinary humans. In any moment of your extraordinary day.

Pleasure is built into the human (and cat) body. There are erogenous zones everywhere.

Heightened sensitivity sizzles! These erogenous zones are in every part of your body.

Any word lovers out there? The word “erogenous” comes from the Greek eros which means love, and the English genous, which means generating.

Ooh — love generating.

And it’s not the obvious areas — clitoris, penis, vagina, breasts and all. (That’s what you were thinking, right?)

There’s a multitude of weird, sexy spots with heightened sensitivity all over the human body. The sensitivity of each zone varies, depending on the concentrations of nerve endings.

They all hold the potential to provide pleasurable sensations when aroused.

These erogenous zones respond in a multitude of manners. A chilling-out sensation, a tingling arousal. Maybe even … (drum roll) … orgasm!

Areas on our bodies that have less nerve endings can still be erogenous. Eyelids, forearm, abdomen and head — all can elicit a sexual, sensual response.

It depends on the way you touch them.

Your eyes capture images of aesthetics. Your ears hear sounds of seduction. Your nose picks up the scent of pleasure. Your hands have perceptive fingertips to access tactile stimuli.

All this input goes to the brain which processes and mentally juices your eroticism.

The mechanisms of delight!

It’s not all about sex (though it can be). It’s always about sensuality and eros, the delicious jazz that rhythms your day.

Don’t subsist in the humdrum. Thrive to your nerve endings.

Feel the outrageous pleasure available to you over your entire body!

Your heart works its heart out for you.

It pumps an average of six litres (1.5 U.S. gallons) of blood every minute. In one day, your heart pumps enough blood to fill more than forty 200-liter (50-gallon) drums

Your blood travels a total of 12,000 miles daily.

But your heart is much more than an efficient, well-traveled pump.

It has its own “little brain”. Science has proven that signals from this “little brain” influence your “big brain”.

The heart affects mental and emotional processing.

And the heart knows the future! Ancient wisdom knew this insight for eons. Today, scientists are able to prove that the heart accesses information outside the range of conscious awareness.

The heart predicts.

In one recent study, 26 participants were connected to EEG, EKG and other skin conductance machines. These measured the body’s physical responses to stimuli. Scientists wanted to see where and when the brain and body processes intuition.

Each participant sat before individual monitors. Random photos of calming and then upsetting photos were broadcast. Some pictures were flashed below conscious awareness.

The machines measured each participant’s physical reaction to the stimuli (the photos). Calming photos and upsetting photos elicited different responses on the body. No surprise.

But the heart was unique in that it reacted before the pictures were shown. On an unconscious level, the heart registered the appropriate reactions in advance.

Before the body actually experiences the stimulus itself, the heart processes information about an emotional stimulus seconds before it happens.

Your heart knows, in advance, insights and awareness that you may have thought were random or coincidental.

Your heart is a perceptual apparatus continuously scanning the future.

Your future.

When feeling the chaos of daily existence, listen to your magnificent heart. It is always present to give you guidance, support and life itself.

Did you know that you have as many nerve cells in the brain as stars in the Milky Way?

The latest estimate is that our brains contain over 100 billion neurons. These neurons, also called nerve cells or brain cells, are equal to the the number of stars in our Milky Way galaxy.

Each of these 100 billion neurons connects to other neurons. Each neuron can have up to 40,000 individual connections (called synapses).

Multiply 100 billion neurons times 40,000 synapses and you have as many connections as all the stars in the entire UNIVERSE!!

Try to picture this. Our Milky Way galaxy is huge — but guess what? — it’s only one of at least 2 trillion galaxies.

Mind blowing!

Every second you are alive, your brain is working at a speed and quantity your mind cannot begin to fathom.

Speaking of memory — your brain’s memory capacity is a quadrillion, or 1015 bytes. This represents the same amount needed to store the entire internet! The human brain is capable of 1,016 processes per second — and is far more powerful than any computer today.

By the way — your brain’s storage capacity is virtually unlimited. It doesn’t get “used up” like RAM in your computer.

Any normal, run-of-the mill brain can generate up to 50,000 thoughts per day. We’re not talking Einstein or Madame Curie here — this is the brain of the average anyone anywhere.

What does that mean to you, one of the anyones (but never average)?

It means you have more potential than you ever dreamed. Without effort, you have the capacity to think, analyze, and understand anything you set your mind to do.

Know that you know how to know … and the universe opens up to you.

Hearing is the first sense we experienced as we were floating in our watery womb before birth

It is the final sense we will experience before death.

Hearing is our prelude — and our coda — to the musical journey we call life. All the sound we’ll ever hear is being played on a perfect little musical instrument inside our head.

And the way we hear …. it’s magical! Sound waves enter the outer ear, ushered in by air. The waves go down the auditory canal, carried by three tiny bones called the ossicles. (An interesting note, the size of these little bones does not change from the time of our birth.)

The sound waves are carried by the ossicles to the middle ear, causing the eardrum and bones in the middle ear to vibrate as they travel to the cochlea.

The cochlea looks like a snail shell and are filled with liquid. They transfer sounds waves from the air to the liquid within them.

This feat of brilliance continues to mystify scientists. How do these teeny ear parts accomplish that?

The movement of sound waves- from air to liquid to electrical impulses — is actually “heard” in the brain.

A mysterious, musical movement ….. mmmmmmmm!

We hear first and last in life … now what do we do in-between?

That depends on how you want to use your magnificent ears. While hearing is an unconscious process, listening is an active art.

Hearing takes the sounds the ear receives and processes them in the brain. Active listening takes the miracle of hearing to another level. It creates space to communicate and transform.

Hear, hear! (and actively listen).

There are over 10,000 scents processed by your nose, taken in by almost 12 million olfactory cells present in a normal human.

Smell is ancient. It is the oldest sense for all living beings. Even a single cell animal has ways to detect the chemical composition of the environment.

Your sense of smell has multiple purposes, such as detecting dangers to avoid, perceiving pheromones (those we want to attract) and finding food.

Guess what? Humans don’t smell with their nose. The olfactory nerve cells in the nose capture odors and send them to the brain. The brain then identifies the source of the smells.

Do you ever wonder why a particular odor can bring back memories from long ago? The sense of smell is the only one of the five human senses with direct connection to the hippocampus, the part of the brain responsible for formation of memory.

In addition, a few years ago, scientists discovered that humans possess a tiny, shiny crystal of magnetite in the ethmoid bone, located between your eyes, just behind the nose.

Magnetite is a magnetic mineral. Homing pigeons, migratory salmon, dolphins, honeybees, and bats all have it and use it for orientation and finding direction. It helps migratory species travel successfully by allowing them to draw upon the earth’s magnetic fields.

With humans, magnetite makes the ethmoid bone sensitive to the earth’s magnetic field and helps one’s sense of direction.

This “compass” was helpful in human evolution, making migration and hunting easier as humans travelled the planet in search of new living conditions.

Your ancient, far-reaching, mega-sensing process of smell can detect past memories, present dangers, current attractions and even give you directions when lost.

It’s your own internal GPS!

You have brute force!

Ounce for ounce, human bones have a greater pressure tolerance and are stronger than a rod of steel. Stronger than concrete.

Steel and concrete are much heavier than the human bone, but pound for pound, the bone is about five times stronger by weight. A cubic inch of bone can bear a load of 19,000 lbs., which is about the weight of five standard pickup trucks.

Herculean strength and structure!

Forget raw force for a second and consider the qualities that human bone possesses over steel or concrete. Your bones can heal themselves because they are composed of living tissue.

If you look at a bone outside the body, it appears dry and hard and dead. But the bones in your body are alive and made of living tissue that constantly grow and regenerate.

Every second, your bone marrow produces two million red blood cells. Breaking down and remaking itself constantly (just like skin), each bone is replaced by a new one every seven years!

In fact, the more you work your bones, the stronger they get. Your skeletal structure gives you a miraculous foundation.

Whenever you’re feeling a lack of support from the outside world — go in.

Feel in your bones that you are alive and held by a constantly-regenerating system. Know your bones are strong enough to carry you through anything life throws your way.

Every atom in your body is billions of years old and originated in the heavens.

Billions of eons ago, a star imploded and exploded, and its fragments scattered throughout the universe.

One of these fragments became our Earth.

For life to exist on earth, it needs the the building blocks of life: carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus and sulfur.

Stars are composed of these same building blocks.

Replicated from the same building blocks as stars, our planet, and all its living inhabitants, were formed. Humans — and our galaxy — have about 97% of the same kind of atoms.

We earthlings are of ancient, cosmic origins, proven by science today (though philosophized and known intuitively for eons).

When you’re feeling low, look up. The same ingredients that make up you are twinkling overhead.

YOU are a star!

Every day life makes frequent demands. You may feel not powerful enough to meet them. Unable to carry on.

Feeling low is no way to start.

If you start with your magnificence, you will receive inner guidance to take the next steps.

If you listen to your powerful and miraculous being within, you may determine ways to chip away at the overwhelm. You can find extra energy and fortitude to move towards your heart’s desires.

Knowing you’re miraculous, you will go easier on yourself. In doing so, life becomes easier. More fun. More sustainable.

Miracles happen every nanosecond. But first you have to recognize yourself as miraculous.

Tap into the superhuman amazement of you. Go forth and manifest to your heart’s — or ears, or nose’s — delight.
